A wheelchair that restored dignity, four baptisms, a retreat in the Carpathians — and the hardest decision our family has made this year.
Dear friends and partners
Lana, Nazar, and I send you warm greetings from Odesa, and we are so deeply grateful to God for each one of you.
Your support — both through prayer and financial giving — is the strong foundation that enables us to stand alongside people every single day. We are able to be there for veterans, students, and all those enduring the hardships of war, even here away from the front lines. This season has been filled with God's incredible miracles alongside new challenges, which we want to share with you today.
The most important part wasn't the wheelchair. It was the moment Denys realized he is remembered, respected, and valued.
That is precisely what I mean when I say that hope restores dignity.
During our conversation and prayer, you could feel his heart softening. This wasn't just humanitarian relief; it was the practical building of bridges of trust. Through this encounter, my disciple Illya — who joined me for the visit — and I were able to share the tangible love of Jesus Christ with him.
years apart from his family
Andrii, one of the men at the retreat, has been fighting since the very first days of the war. The greatest gift was simply that his family could be together.
One of the most joyful highlights of this season was the baptism of our volunteers. This time it was all young women, but their declaration of faith felt so grounded, meaningful, and deeply committed.
Summer is behind us, and we are stepping into the fall semester with renewed strength. Student life during wartime means constant schedule disruptions, online classes, and repeatedly running down to bomb shelters. It is a stressful and exhausting routine. Yet, at the same time, this season has created an extraordinary openness among young people as they search for purpose, spirituality, and God.
We are actively planning our outreach projects and gearing up for our English Club. We are also planning small group Bible studies, student leadership meetings focused on evangelism and discipleship, and various events designed to help non-believers reflect on God.
While these departures are challenging, we rejoice in how the Lord continues to send us new people. God has truly blessed us with these diamonds, and together, we are stepping out to labor for His Kingdom.
An administrative building just 300 meters from our apartment was recently destroyed.

For Denys, the veteran in a wheelchair: for his spiritual transformation, successful upcoming surgeries, and continued openness to connecting with us.
For our newly baptized volunteers: that they remain spiritually steadfast, grow in their faith, and become mentors for the next generation of young people.
For my final season with Campus: for new students joining our upcoming English Club and for wisdom for our team.
For our family's transition: as we settle into our new home — for God's protection, Nazar's health, and peace of mind for our household.
For financial stability in our ministry: that God would bring new monthly partners to help close our ongoing budget deficit.
Thank you for your beautiful hearts, your daily prayers, and for standing with us on this front line of hope!
Thank you for standing alongside us in this mission. I am especially grateful to each of you for your warm, genuine fellowship and for the unity of heart and spirit that I feel despite the great distance between us.
I truly hope to see you in person one day. While the war currently makes it impossible for me to travel to you, I pray to God that one day we will sit down together over a cup of coffee or tea.
